Is there such a thing? Because, while in HS, I kept a journal for a couple years, and the format was letters to my mother, mostly conversations I wish we could’ve had. So, does the term “epistolic journal” really exist?
I don’t know if the terms exists but it works for what you’re describing. Maybe you just invented it.
