The guy that points out the obvious?
I’m still shocked that the House never impeached him over those. Even if you’re a Holder supporter you gotta admit it’s something the House Pubs would have tried even though the Senate would never have convicted him.
What would be the point? They already got all the publicity they could get from this issue. Belaboring a dead issue doesn’t gain the Republicans any more air time.
Do they need a point? Besides, what a great spectacle for the Pubs having the second cabinet member ever impeached on trial?
An impeachment trial would have exposed their political grandstanding bullshit for what is was, and made them look like a bunch of asses. They knew enough to keep the story within the Faux News bubble.
And that has stopped them when?
I haven’t heard of any impeachment trials since Clinton. There’s just enough talk of impeaching Obama to feet red meat to the tea partiers, but any suggestion of an actual impeachment resolution is quickly squelched. There have been no honest, non-partisan investigations of any of the so-called scandals. They’ve actually done quite well at avoiding any honest debate. Why change now?
There’s been one since then, but it wasn’t a big deal politically. It was “just” a corrupt judge, and pretty much everybody agreed he was corrupt. The vote was 96-0 to convict.
This was a big disappointment.
I was also disappointed that he did not go after voter intimidation and other suppress the vote efforts.
But to say he was the worst attorney general is to forget Mitchell, Gonzalez, Ashcroft, Meese and many others.
No, your assertion is stupid and wrong. It’s based on partisanship and is therefore worthless.
This is a lie. Holder was covering up, and a follow up for a previous lie in which he denied knowing about the scandal.
Holder connived at a cover up for an operation that killed American citizens, and lied about it. He refused to produce the documents that showed when Obama knew about it. Obama then invoked executive privilege to prevent anyone finding out the facts of what he knew and when he knew it.
And before you go on with the usual worthless ranting about how you don’t think I have any credibiilty, I care nothing for your opinions about me, find a large proportion of your posts contemptible, and generally regard your condemnation to be more a sign that a position has merit than the reverse.

Shodan
If Holder was a White Republican with the same record while as Attorney General all of his defenders here would be screaming for him to march directly to prison.
We all know that is true.
Could you please define the words “we,” “know,” and “true?” I think I got the rest of that sentence.
What can we say? They learned from GWB’s best.
What a scary place it must be, living inside the head of someone who thinks anything Darrell Issa wishes were true is true.
Here, Shodan, educate yourself. Then consider how the national interest just might actually require not indulging children’s tantrums any more than necessary.
Let’s dial back the harsh/outrage meter a little.
In this context, “we” means those participating in the thread, “know” means to have a correct understanding, and “true” means corresponding with reality.
Thus we can accurately predict what happens when you hit the patellar tendon with a hammer, and when anything is mentioned about the various lies and scandals of the Obama administration. It’s the same thing.
Regards,
Shodan
If there were some way to turn irony into power, Shodan’s posts would be able to run a small city or at least a medium-sized town.
Then I take issue with your use of all three of those words, davida03801.
I disagree with this, too, davida03801. You can think Holder did exemplary work on a couple of issues and stank on others. For example:
It’s always a shock to find out that republicans honestly believe their own bullshit.
Republicans spew bullshit just like Democrats.
I sure hope that profound realization hasn’t blinded you to Holder’s numerous shortcomings, and apparent hypocrisy.
