And Spongebob’s grandma, too.
Plus, on TV Joanie loved Chachi, but in real life Joanie loved pot, see.*
*okay, I know that her problem was other drugs, but I’m using a little artistic license here, people.
I know a few people in their 50s/60s who live lives very similar to how Moran apparently lived, and wouldn’t change it for the world. Just sayin.
Class act Scott Baio on her death:
When it was revealed she died of cancer he walked it back to
Of course since the cancer was probably caused or accelerated by smoking, I guess screw her again.
The past few years have really revealed how much of an a$$hole Chachi is.
Yeah, we can tell why he was a Trump supporter. Though at least he’s smart enough to change his tune when subsequent facts would make his comment look really, really bad.
Blonde guy ended up on Love Boat (blanking on his name) and I think he kicked around some other stuff. Henry Winkler did a lot of producing, and some writing and directing too.
Marion Ross did some stage work as well. I remember seeing her in “Arsenic and Old Lace” and it was quite good. Looks like she did some voice work too.
Yeah, he’s an asshat. She had stage 4 cancer. Maybe it was caused by the drugs. Maybe not. Either way, it’s not what you tell the world the next day. If you must, there are actually tactful ways to say “I always wished she’d reach out” or “I always hoped we’d connect again” or something to indicate you knew she had problems that you hoped she could get by. Not, fuck her, addicts deserve to die alone, in so many words.
Ted McGinley. Also notable for his *Married With Children *work, but he seems to have kept pretty busy over the years in all sorts of projects.
Do you mean Ted McGinley? Yeah, he’s been successful, too. Probably his best-known role, and most popular, was as Jefferson D’Arcy on *Married With Children. *
56 is way too young to go.
That reminds me, my husband and I both have to go in to get our regular skin check.
Did they say what type of cancer?
Did she know she was dying?
According to her husband indicated that it was ‘squamous cell carcinoma’, probably starting in the throat. And it was diagnosed just a couple of months ago.
[Moderating]
Knock it off with the political jabs, BigT. This isn’t the time nor the place.
Comes now Erin’s brother tomention that Baio, besides being a “scumbag piece of shit” (his words, not mine), has a tiny schlong. Always interesting to see how different cultures do funerary rites.
Like, how tiny?
Like, try to suppress a chuckle tiny, or qualified for a monthly disability check tiny?
ETA: Chronos, please note my comments were not meant to be political, but just a joke about that tiny dicked mutant, Mr Scott Baio, ladies and gentlemen.

Though his penis does lean to the right.
Well, maybe not leans, sort of kind of points to the right, anyway. When he’s lying on his right side.
Tom Bosley also had a recurring role on Murder, She Wrote and had a film career before that-- as a character actor, but he worked steadily. I’m sure he was rolling in residuals.
Erin Moran is the only one who essentially disappeared after the show went off the air. I used to hear about her antics once in a while, because we were both in Indiana. I wonder if she was bipolar.
In Case I Wasn’t Clear:
Comments about Scott Baio’s rectal choices of headwear, autofornicatory habits, dubious and possibly multispecific ancestry, probable escatological destination, or phallic inadequacies are probably in bad taste for this thread, but I’m not the Bad Taste Police, such comments are at least somewhat on-topic, and you’ll notice that I did not moderate such remarks (though if you want to go into more detail about such, it should probably be taken to the Pit, rather than hijacking this discussion). Comments about such desultory personal qualities being the reason for his support of Trump, however, constitute a political jab, which I will not allow in CS.
Capisci?
We can still mention the time he gave Cartman pinkeye, though, can’t we?
He also produced McGyver and some other shows that would have set him up nicely, and he’s a very successful children’s book author, which alone would probably be a lot more money than most people make.
Erin’s most valuable asset was probably one she couldn’t touch: her pension account. SAG has good pensions, and she would have paid a lot into it when her shows were on the air. Her husband or whoever her designated beneficiary is will probably have a comfortable (not lavish, but good middle class or better) retirement.
