Ertuğrul Osman, aka the Last Ottoman, has has died of renal failure at the age of 97. As well as being the pretender to the Ottoman throne he was also the titular Islamic caliph.
Well he would have only been worth three points.
He has a successor: Bayezid Osman. Served in the US Army and worked in the NYC public library. If that doesn’t prepare someone to be a Turkish Sultan, nothing does. I wonder if he’s living out his life above a NYC restaurant like his cousin did?
