Espionage/spy comics

In the past few months, I have read two titles which are as far away from each other as you can get, and still be “spy” comics. And both have female lead characters.

“Danger Girl” is filled with eye candy, silliness and spoofs on James Bond (one of the main characters looks like an aging Sean Connery). Its is mindlessly amusing. The main character is Abbey Chase, a buxom blonde who jumps from one related adventure to another, escaping by the skin of her teeth (I’d say “seat of her pants” but she loses them to a crocodile in one story).

“Queen & Country” is a gritty set of tales about England’s international spy branch, MI6, and their dealings with Russian mafia, the Taleban, and Islamic terrorism. The protagonist is an assasin, Tara Chace, who knee deep in alcoholism and is one step away from being damaged goods. Its a great read: topical, well-plotted and intelligent.

Any other good spy comics out there?
