ESPN Baseball Pitch-by-Pitch Gamecast

Does this piece of crap actually ever work more than one day in a row?

Yesterday it stopped after the 4th inning. The day before, it didn’t work at all.

Who’s in charge of this bullplop?

Not the politest way to ask a GQ, but I will try to answer what I know.

Yes it does work for successive days. It has worked for the full game.

I have had it lock up my computer (I am usually on a UNIX system) and have had it stop in the middle of a game.

I suggest you try finding the e-mail address for ESPN and writing them with you complaints, you pay your money…oh yes this is a free service provided by ESPN.com.

Every once in a while it gets funky. The last week or so has been one of those times. Most of the year it works perfectly and is my favorite site for “watching” a game.

If ESPN.com’s GameCast doesn’t work, you can just keep trying other sites, like Sportsline, Yahoo, or, even, MLB.com until you find one that works. They are never all down as they all use different servers

BingoBurringo, I’ll take it on faith that you really want an answer. In the future, try to phrase your general questions in a more civil manner.

If you just wanted to complain about the service, this should have gone in The BBQ Pit. If you want this thread moved there, let me know.
