You’ve never had Derby pie? It’s sort of like pecan pie, except with walnuts, chocolate chips, and a splash of bourbon. Good stuff, really. I made it for Thanksgiving one year, and now I am forbidden to bring anything else instead of it (although I can bring stuff in addition). Recipe:

Huh, I hadn’t ever looked in that thread. Those things are generally just a lot of arm-waving of the sort one sees at Hollywood premieres. For a “Perfect Master” and member since 1999 he has an awfully low post count. Perhaps that’s because it’s not necessary to spend a lot of time in debate when one is perfect. On the other hand I don’t ever recall him posting in GQ to answer a question or GD to resolve an issue, i.e., is GWB a perfect president or a perfect fool?
