Talking with anticipation about massive carnage and suffering is an odd thing to do. As is hoping for a repeat of the numerous attempts to commit genocide against the Israelis.
To say nothing of the fact that if you get the war you seem to want, we could quite easily change the name of the region to the Greater Arabian Glass Parking Lot.

For those who are curious, Edrogan has a tendency to act like a bit of a nutjob.
He’s a guy who denied the Armenian Genocide and claimed that, instead, the Armenians were going to exterminate the Turks. He also claimed that it is actually impossible for Muslims to engage in genocidal acts, that the crimes going on in Darfur are a myth, and that the war against Hamas in Gaza is even worse than Darfur.
To be sure, relations between Israel and Turkey have become strained as of late due to his particular style of bombast, but war? Outside of those hoping for it for their own reasons, nobody really thinks it’s a possibility let alone gleefully expects it.
