Euphumisms for vomitting...

Having spent the latter part of the afternoon and a portion of my evening worshipping at the porcelain altar I got to thinking about other descriptive terms for this sometimes unavoidable activity. FTR I have hypoglycemia and it was just one of those really bad days… you thought that I was out carousing perhaps?

Anyways… puke, spew, hurl, upchuck, blow chunks (your dog?), and worshipping at the porcelain altar come easily to mind…

Ricochet relay (more the frantic sprints to the receptacle, but still…)

(I was going to try to work the Pepsi Imp into one, but it sounded disturbingly like a euphemism for something else…the thought of which would be likely to induce vomiting…does that count?)

I generally tend to use anything that it is not a word with an ‘ing’ and the end of it, some of my favourites include:

Yuking
Harumphing and
Phreenowing

I DONT know why, but when our first son was a baby, and he would spit up after every meal, one of us started calling it “bleck-ums”. Baby #2 is in my lap, and guess what??? Gotta go change my shirt again.
