Eurodopers, ever been to the USA or Canada?

I’ve been to the U.S. more times then I can remember, sometimes working, quite a few times just travelling around on my own.
I’ve never been to New England,Boston,New York or New Orleans though I fancy going there at some stage.(Plus hopefully Alaska and Hawaii)

I’ve been up and down the East coast from Virginia down to Florida several times, along the bottom once, some travelling up from Texas(loved the Texans by the way though many of you Yanks dont seem to) through Colorado into Nevada.

Have been up and down the West coast a few times.

Have been to Canada a couple of times(Vancouver and St. Johns New Foundland).

My impressions?

Loved the Smithsonian in Washington, the tourist stuff in Florida and Las Vegas,San Francisco and Seattle, but didn’t like L.A.,Sacremento,Portland Oreg.Norfolk Virg .

I love visiting but would never consider emigrating to the U.S. permamently but might do so to Canada.

Love the people (Wellmost of them anyway) in both countries.

Slightly off topic, have been to Mexico aswell.

Like ** L4L** I’ve been to the USA loads of times.
Chicago,Noo Yawk,Boston,Grand Rapids (Michigan) Connecticut and most of New England.

My fave place by a mile is Rhode Island if only for a good scoff of my username avec Clam Cakes.

I’d kill for some

Never been outside Europe. Yet.

I’ve been a few times. New York is my favourite place there, an astonishing city.

Spent of few months in Vermont(Burlington) and Quebec(Bromont). Traveled around Massachusetts a bit. Spent time in Boston and Montreal.

My one and only trip was to Phoenix, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, in 2004.

I have an uncle, who emigrated to the USA in 1960 or thereabouts. He lives in Florida now. He visits his Dutch siblings once every few years. He always invites us to stay with him. I’ve recently met his daughter, my cousin, who is a lawyer in New York and came to Holland to meet her relatives. She’s really cool, and we are probably going to visit her in New York in a couple years.
