I have a swampy swimming pool I’m in the process of rehabilitating. I also have a nice pump I saved from when I removed a hot tub from another residence. I was thinking about using the pump as a power vacuum to help me clear debris from my pool. I’ve seen many pool contractors bring these portable rigs to job sites, and I think I’d like to own one.
I’m guessing I need some sort of filter mechanism and send/return lines. Anybody ever build one of these and/or have advice to offer? So far, I’ve mounted the pump to a dolly and bought some electric cord for wiring it up.
