Yesterday for me.
I have a small black cat with attitude. I call her black devil, or actually deevil.
My friend tagged me on a funny about a tiny black kitten beating on (trying to) a much larger cat. I responded “Black Devil” and the ban hammer came down.
So Russian bots, companies that rip you off, all are OK, but be sure never ever to say Black Devil.
That’s a jail? Have other prisoners abused you yet?
And did you have to ask them to?
Yep. I was tossed into Facebook jail just the other day. Seems I was ‘bullying’, when I said that a guy that had just been convicted of raping a child, should ‘eat a bullet’. Yeah. They consider that ‘bullying’. Good grief. I happily did my time. Only 24 hours. Easy peasy.
I’m in a private group that shares really nasty humor. Invitation only. Even knowing all that, people have turned other people in when the nasty gets turned up to eleven. I’ve never been to gaol, but a friend has.
I got a 24-hr lockout for posting a Pixies track. The Youtube video I linked to used the cover art from their Surfer Rosa album, which FB decided was pornographic (it isn’t).
No, I’ve only ever been warned by FB that I was posting spam when I shared an ad that was ON FACEBOOK (it was for nail polish, and I thought it was pretty looking) :smack:
No, but I’ve done some time in Twitter jail. Twitter is where I vent my anger and sometimes I go overboard. I go overboard a lot, actually. If I actually had followers or anything I’d probably be in jail all the time.
Sometimes my reaction to Twitter jail is “ YAY! Someone read my post!
Who would have thought that telling some to kill themselves would be considered bullying? I can understand your surprise.
I’m a repeat offender. I have apparently offended people repeatedly.
First jail was 24 hours, then a week, then a month. I thought I was doomed, but the next time was only an admonishment, a chiding, not even an upbraiding.
One of the guys I work with got a three day timeout just yesterday. I think he insulted someone. He was a bit panicked about it, as he sells lots of yard-sale style stuff on the local marketplace listings, and had three people coming over to his house after work that night to hopefully purchase some items. The only way he’d ever been in contact with them was through Facebook, and now had no way to answer questions, give directions, etc.
All three did still show up, and bought more stuff than they came for, so it worked out. He still has two more days though. If you’re in Facebook jail, are your “for sale” listings all hidden, or do they remain active? I’ll ask him tomorrow if I manage to remember.
The guy was CONVICTED of raping a child. He deserves to die. Just my opinion. I could be wrong, though.
Also, I did NOT tell him to kill himself. I just commented that he ‘should eat a bullet.’ I never said how it should be fed to him, or that he should feed it to himself.
When rape is deemed worthy of a death sentence (as it has until surprisingly recently in many jurisdictions), then “rape and murder” starts to look not so bad from the point of view of the rapist, no?
Truth.
Ah, you were leaving it ambiguous whether he should kill himself or be murdered. Can’t see why that would be bullying.
Exactly! I don’t condone child rape. It just made me angry, is all. But, it’s over. The kid will probably have therapy, then forgive the guy, maybe. All is well.
Ending this here. I don’t want to go to Doper jail!
Murder their victim perhaps. If it’s the same penalty, might as well kill the prosecution’s star witness when you are done having fun with them. It’s a win-win.
I got briefly cornfielded once for repeatedly posting a wall of FUCK YOUs on Equifax’s FB page.
I feel like I was justified. Because fuck Equifax.
I was locked out of Facebook for 24 hours yesterday for sharing too many memes. Apparently, someone reported one of them or all of them.
