I had one album that was a gift from a friend who met them out on the road. i loved the album. I haven’t been able to find anything about them or from them since. A psychopathic whorebitch stole the CD from me.
I’d love to be able to find another copy.
One song was called “Short on Sugar”
It great. I memorized it.
It’s about a “highflying woman who bops around th eworld in her car.”

She crawls into my bed in the dawn light and tells me “Baby, I’ve been travellin far.”
I boogied on down to Antartica, met some cool penguins and had a good time.
Made it into Rio by nightfall and ordered a vodka and lime.
Got to thinkin about this guy I remembered, anchored in a cold New York light.
I wondered what dreams he was dreaming,
So, I showed up here. I hope it’s alright’
I said, “Babe, you know I’m happy to see you and your always welcome in my bed,
But I’d love to know what’s happening between us,” and here’s what the lady said:
She said, " You’re a friend I could always count on, a person who’s always true
Though I don’t think we’ll be lovers, I’ll always have a thing for you."

The chorus goes;

Well, she knows what i likein my coffe,
And she knows just what to put in my tea.
She maybe kinda short on sugar but you know, i think she’s sweet on me.

Another song started with the lines:

She reads Shakespear and has to stop to catch her breath.
He drinks rootbeer and contemplates the meaning of his death.

Anyway, i hope that someone knows something aboutthem and can help me get another copy of the album.
