When I worked at the Comedy Store, I briefly shared and apartment with Felicia Michaels , we were just friends. We went our seperate ways and then I found that she was in a Playboy pictorial, I assumed it was a career move.
In junior high, one of the recent college grad teachers was strongly rumored to have been in a prior issue of PB (not a centerfold, but in it somewhere sans at least some clothing). None of the kids I knew had a copy, so I always thought it was BS. She was a bright teacher with a nice smile & a sparkle in her eye, so if it was true I could see what the photographer saw in her. And if it wasn’t, I didn’t want to be just another ass spreading rumors about one of the few cool teachers in that school.
This was a mild cause celebre in its time - in the early 1980s the principal of a well-known progressive boarding school and his wife turned out to have acted in a porn movie or posed for a porn mag, I can’t remember which. A friend of mine who went to that school said it all started off as a joke, which ended in the shock revelation that resulted in the school being closed down.
Wife of a friend of mine does erotic photoshots. He used to do the photography for them, but has moved onto other things. Understand that while I’ve been shown some of the more ‘tame’ stuff, I’ve not seen any nudity. This is by my choice; I just kinda get squicked out by the idea of seeing erotic pics of my friend’s wife, just due to the relationship-level there.
One of my daughter’s friends auditioned for Playboy and the audition tape wound up on some commercial or compilation tape. I haven’t seen it but all her friends have.
A former local assistant police chief (now moved on to greener pastures) appeared in the Playboy magazine in the early 80’s. She was a college student at the time and later claimed posing had harmed her employment opportunities. I had met her briefly a few years before as she is the cousin of my best friend.
A girl from my high school (friend of a friend) is in the current Maxim, or I guess by now it might be one issue back. Not exactly a skin mag, but she’s certainly not fully dressed.
One of my friends dropped out senior year and started doing internet porn for awhile. She didn’t tell anyone, but the video made it’s way out and soon everyone had seen it. She was pretty, but not especially stable, so I felt kind of sorry for her.
My wife went to the Catholic high school with Jenny McCarthy. She said everyone knew she was a slut and was generally considered “Most likely to advance her career on her knees”.
That doesn’t sound like the Jenny McCarthy I’ve seen on television. She’s always struck me as the one celebrity who was being honest about being a geek.
A geek who just happened to have HUGE breasts.
When i was in Jr. high, my english teacher was an ex-stripper ("Bubbles " Reilly. this had been 9apparently) many years before-everybody knew it. Didn’t seem to have had any negative effect upon her susequent career! 
Actually, I’m pretty sure she was the centerfold in the Pac 10 issue I referenced in the OP (only remember because she went on to become pretty famous beyond modelling).
That’s the persona she seems to portray now, but I remember when it was controversial to have her on that cheesy MTV dating game because she had posed for Playboy. This was back in, oh, 1997 or so. I think.
As a dumb 15 year old who watched her on Singled Out, I always thought she acted like that then too.

I’m certain that a former co-worker of mine ended up in an issue of some skin mag like Swank. Good layout. The other guys at work (who knew her far longer than I did) agreed that it was likely her.
This issue appeared about 4 or 5 months after she left the company, and moved west.
I also have a fraternity brother who married a stripper. She later on went on to be a runner up Penthouse Pet of the Year. Oddly, he got very mad when the links to the web sites went out to our email list. :eek:
A couple of friends of mine whipped up a letter that got published in the Penthouse Forum “Monopede Mania” section. Does that count?

When I was an RA, one of my residents wrote in to the Playboy Advisor about a previous roommate who would spank the monkey constantly, with him in the room (at night, under teh covers).
He was so proud when it actually got published. He even bought a couple of copies, tore the page out of one, and pinned it on his bulletin board outside his door.
The rest of the floor’s denizens weren’t so sure that he wasn’t the monkey-spanker, and the innocent roommate wasn’t someone else…
My cousin’s best friend is a porn star who’s been featured in some magazines. I got to know her quite well when we used to have our weekly roleplaying games over at my cousin’s house, and she’d occasionally entertain us all with stories from the field, so to speak. I can’t recall which magazines she’s been in and I’m fairly certain the majority of them are industry related, so not even something I’d recognize–which is probably why I can’t remember what they were.
Sweet person. She also performed the wedding ceremony for my cousin.
I went to high school with Midwest Mandy. (That site is not safe for work - click at your discretion.) She was very cool and quite intelligent, not a bimbo at all. She played on the women’s rugby team! She gave me a ride home from wrestling practice one afternoon, during which she encouraged me to come out for the men’s rugby team (I did, and liked it a lot.) But she was a senior and I was a freshman, so we did not interact all that much. I was friends with her brother, who was in my grade (in fact, he was just over here last night hanging out with us.)
She started posing nude online after she had graduated, while I was a senior. News about the site spread like wildfire, since she was very well-known when she had attended, and since her brother was still a student there.
I was quite surprised when it came out that she had this site, since she was not known as a bimbo at all and actually kind of a geek, though a hot geek. But I had always been in awe of her massive breasts (she definitely had the largest ones of any girl at our school) so I was glad she was finally using them to benefit mankind.
