Here’s an example. I clicked on the thread Skeeters! but was thinking about the thread How do I hate MC? Let me count the ways…. So it seemed to me that someone was roasting MC because “Flying fucking vermin is what you are, cowards in every sense of the word. Sneaking up on us on silent wings to draw our life’s blood so that you may spawn more of your kind.”
“Wow,” I thought, “that’s kind of harsh. And odd.” This happens to me more often than I care to count. It can be a surreal experience until you glance back up at the thread title.
I first read ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ about 5 years ago. Since then I’ve read it about 4 more times.
So the average period I wait before re-reading the book is about 12 months. I seem to remember buying the book in August so it’s about time I started reading it again.
