Ever want to play with a trebuchet? Now you can!

Check out this site for your very own medieval assault machine which can be fine tuned with a click of the mouse. It would be better with flaming castles, screaming peasants, and bosomy wenches, but hey-it’s free.

How the heck does someone get 88,000 points on that thing??

I made a trebuchet out of a cardboard box one time. Hurled aluminum foil balls clear across my apartment.

When I saw the thread title, I thought you’d be talking about this:

Looks neat but a bit expensive for a desktop toy! I’ve played with the website version before but was pretty bad at it.

My high was 2,395 after two full games.

When I lived in Connecticut I opened up my back field to a flaming pitch throwing contest with trebuchets… No one showed up so I had to put the show on for my puppy and my wife

Got up to 2400 or so. It doesn’t seem fair you can adjust the gravity. I don’t suppose you can do that IRL. Maybe the altitude might make the tiniest difference in that regard, but in that case just call that dial ‘altitude’.

Anyone else notice the theme music is from Civ II?

I only found that adjusting the gravity helped in the “power” challenge - increase it then, it didn’t change the distance it flew, it just hit with more power.

Highest score was 2,674 (on my third game).
