Ever worn suspenders?

I seem to recall that the bustiest of us (which would be me) wore the suspenders down. …Or am I mixing that up with overalls?

Dunno, but I recall that everyone wore the overalls half-down (unbuttoned on one side). If you unbuttoned all the way, wouldn’t the overalls fall off?

I’ve only ever seen skinheads wear suspenders down. Usually with a t-shirt, jeans, and Doc Martins.

I wore suspenders in 8th grade. Another in the rainbow-Mork set. I wasn’t popular or unpopular, kind of in-between. I wouldn’t wear them now because my boobs would be in the way.

I wear “Cinch Up” suspenders. 2 inch wide black elastic with steel metal buckles. I avoid the brass buckles because I don’t want to look like a war reenactor.

I often wear suspenders/braces, but, when I look at those, and the securing straps at the end, all I can think of is those things that cowboys hang onto the bumper backs of their pickups.

When I was a kid, maybe 6-7 years old, my parents got me an outfit with suspenders. I’d forgotten about that until now. Haven’t worn suspenders since I outgrew that outfit.
