I was really in to ska music as a teen so I dressed the part. I wore suspenders with a skirt (I’m a woman), but also with pants. Well, “braces” that don’t really do much functionally. But I did have a regular pair of suspenders that I did use on occasion to hold up my jeans, at the time.
They were part of my band uniform, too. The button-on type, like a tuxedo.

My heavy winter pants have suspenders and since I work outdoors I’ve been using them all the way to May. Not going to use them for the next four months or so, though.
Also back in the day I did downhill skiing I think some pants also featured suspenders but I don’t really pay attention to clothes so my memory is hazy about the details.
When in the military, I often wore straps that went from the shirt down to the socks. They helped keep the socks up and shirt tucked tightly in.
Nope. Never really thought I would, either. Frankly, I’ve always thought that suspenders were kind of silly. I’ve always preferred belts. However, the other day I saw a commercial on T.V. featuring what was supposed to be a strongman (from an earlier era) and he was wearing suspenders and I thought they looked good. On him.

Yup. Then for a while after in the '80s, suspenders for girls were a popular look. I tried but they don’t work on short (and ESPECIALLY) busty young women.

Wearing them now. I have several pair from Duluth Trading. Since, due to a genetic condition I have no ass, suspenders are a necessity. Belts don’t make it. It’s either suspenders or rivets. They get worn under my usual Hawaiian shirt.

Is it easier or harder to change your Depends when they have suspenders attached?
Tried them a few times. If they don’t dig into my shoulders when I sit they won’t hold my pants up high enough.
I used to, when I was young, but once I grew tits I couldn’t seem to get them to stay in place or not rub sensitive bits. So, belt for me since then.
I used to where them in high school because it was a thing. Since them maybe half a dozen times.
