Everything but what I WANT to know!

I was just reading an article on CNN about “Who Reads What,” an annual list put out by a Maine library featuring the favorite books of celebrities, politicians, sports stars, etc.

To quote a line from the article :

Naturally, you’d assume they’d link to the library’s site in the article somewhere. Nope. What the hell is that shit?

Another example, kind of along the same lines : A couple weeks ago I was sitting at work reading every single article in the newspaper (it can get boring at work) and I came across a small article about a baseball player who chucked a ball at a female fan who was holding up a sign that pissed the player off. “Wow!,” says the average reader, “What in the world could a sign say that would anger a baseball player to the point of physical violence?!” You guessed it. The article doesn’t say.

Just in case you didn’t find the library’s site:

For once you must try to face the facts: Mankind is kept alive by bestial acts.

Cool, thank you.

Oh-- and the sign? I think it said something like “Hit sign, win suit.”

Really much ado about nothing.
