Just did a test with interesting results.
Set IE6 options to no cookies. Did Google search for cookies. Went to cookiescentral.com, the first hit. Google didn’t leave cookies (nor c…c…com) and worked fine.
But SDMB left a cookie while replying to this thread!
Back to IE option and set Security to Max. No more SDMB cookies.
WTF? No cookies doesn’t mean no cookies in the MS universe?
Checked it again after closing all IE windows just to be sure.
Okay test over. Set cookies back on to reply in this thread and set Security to minimum.

Google lists the Deployment Engineer (with security clearance) job on their google job opportunities page. I can’t say I’m too surprised. Google routinely deals with staggering amounts of information, and their algorithms are good enough to make it look simple.
