Excel: How do I add axis titles on a chart?

According to the Office website:

[ul][li]Click anywhere in the chart to which you want to add axis titles.[/li][li]Click the Chart Elements button [+] next to the upper-right corner of the chart.[/li][li]Check the Axis Titles box.[/ul][/li]
OK… I clicked several different places on the chart. No plus button to be found. Isn’t there something that says ‘Add axis titles’ somewhere?

It depends on which version of Excel you’re using. If it’s a recent-enough version, you should be able to click the Chart Tools - Layout tab at the top of the screen and select Axis Titles.

On older versions, right click on the axis you want changed.

I’m using Excel for Macs 2011.

OK, I’ve found the button. I couldn’t find ‘Chart Tools’, but that gave me a clue to use in Help and it showed a picture of the Axis Titles button.

At least I can make the charts. Now I need to figure out how to do in Excel, the ‘Analyze’, ‘Examine’, ‘Zoom-In’, and ‘Interpolate’ functions that exist in LabPro (which I don’t have).

Thanks for the title hints.
