Excel Question - Color of Font

Is really simple. Really.

Set up:
I have a spread sheet. At the end of each colum $X amount. I want the $X.00>0 to be red to let me know that I still owe money So that at the bottom of that cell, the word “owe” is in red. If cell=$0.00, then at the bottom cell “paid in full” is in blue. That’s it.

I went to the library and got out 3, yes 3!, books on Excel. All state that yes it can be done, but none gives an example of a formula. I asked Excel and it leads me nowhwere.

So, I implore to the TS Dopers, can I have just a simple formula in a cell that just turn “owe” into red (based on any amount above zero) and “paid in full” into blue (based on if zero yes paid in full)?

THANX
