Excel Question - Quick and Innofensive

Well, that stoopid paper clip cartoon didn’t help. =P

OK.

Quick Excel question.

On an Excel 2000, how do you change the color format of the worksheet tabs?

Yes, I know, more heavier questions are bandied about hereabouts, but I just can’t find the answer.

Right click the worksheet tab and select “Tab color”.

That’s what I did originally, before I asked the paper clip guy. But, no “tab color” on right click. Nada. =(

It’s Excel 2000 . .so I am not sure what’s wrong.

Thanx.

Wow. I’d never have guessed they had an option for that.
I guess it would be handy though.
I use common spreadsheets where every person in the office has a tab, and it’s trouble to find yours in the fine print.

It looks like this option became available with the 2002 version (where under Format / Sheet / Tab Color is an option)
