I was looking at charts of excess deaths on the CDC site, and noticed a spike in excess deaths in early 2018. I can’t think of why, but it seemed pretty uniform looking at some different states. Any ideas?
Flu? Maybe it was a year that the vaccine was a poor guess. Just a WAG, but early in the year suggests it.
