Why did I use to enjoy late night walks by the cemetary, here in Tennessee? These mugs might have cousins…

A bunch of animal bones? They could have died of natural causes. Ghosts and the paranormal don’t exist, so it’s nothing to do with that. I suspect the paranormal investigators are playing up that angle as much as possible.
I didn’t believe in the paranormal until I read this from the linked article:
Jesus Christ, what more proof do you need? Open your eyes, people!
Excessively Creepy.

Sadly, animal abuse is not that uncommon. I seriously don’t think it has anything to do with “satanic” rituals or anything of that sort. There are just too many screwed-up fucks out there who enjoy tortruing animals. Contact the nearest human society, if you don’t believe me. The usual reason is just sick kicks.

Hey, Tennessee isn’t that much of a wilderness anymore!
The strangest part of the story is seeing the former bass player of Pink Floyd abandon his musical interests to become a Kentucky State Trooper.
Maybe he’s the victim of a Satanic spell?
From the remains, Brooks said it appeared two of the dogs were Rottweilers, while the other two were beagles, one of which appeared to have its skull crushed.
samarm-how does one “Naturally” crush one’s skull? Margo

mmmm… ghosty.
I’m suprised that Pam Brooks is a paranormal investigator, she seems so…grounded. I wonder if she knew the graveyard held gasp Dead people?
By being hit by a car, or if the dog was badly injured someone may have ‘put it down’ that way.
Gee, don’t the ‘ghost hunters’ realize that they themselves are spreading the rumor that the cemetary is a gateway to hell/ the other side?
I work at a humane society, and while we investigate plenty of cruelty cases, I don’t remember a single satanic abuse case in my three years here. They do happen, but they’re much rarer than people imagine them to be.
While this case may involve some kids acting like Satanists, I’d want to exhaust every other possibility first – including the possibility of wild animal attacks, dogfighters dumping animals used for training their fighting dogs, or some asshole killing his neighbor’s dogs because they bark too much. All of these are much more common than ritual sacrifice of animals.
