Yes, it’s my secret shame. I’m a Kyle XY fan. According to my DVR, the last episode shown was the series finale. End of show. So they introduce all kinds of new plot developments in the last 10 seconds? They didn’t wrap anything up. They just ended the show. Does anyone have any insight besides “Screw you, viewers”? Or was it cancelled when they clearly had a 4th season planned?

Yeah, I was pretty let down by that ending, as well.
I suspect that they’d intended to do another season, but only found out that this was going to be their last episode after they’d already filmed it. As a result, it posed more questions than answers or closure.
The annoying thing is that for weeks now, ABC Family has been touting this as “The Series Finale”, when it was anything but.
