Matthias: Look, I don’t think it should be a sin, just for saying “Jehovah.”
[Everyone gasps]
Jewish Official: You’re only making it worse for yourself!
Matthias: Making it worse? How can it be worse?!?! Jehovah! Jehovah! Jehovah!
Jewish Official: I’m warning you! If you say “Jehovah” one more time (gets hit with rock) RIGHT! Who did that? Come on, who did it?
Stoners: She did! She did! (suddenly speaking as men) He! He did! He!
Jewish Official: Was it you?
Stoner: Yes.
Jewish Official: Right…
Stoner: Well you did say “Jehovah.”
[Crowd throws rocks at the stoner]
Jewish Official: STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! STOP IT! Alright, no one is to stone anyone until I blow this whistle. Even…and I want to make this absolutely clear…even if they do say, “Jehovah.”
[Crowd stones the Jewish Official to death.]
I got my username from a book.
Hmmm…I’m guessing Already In Use…Only because it follows in the same vein…
Nawp, sorry, I wasn’t that popular.
So, just how upset does the SDMB staff get if you make up another account? {Zot!}

According to Arthurian legend Sir Pelleas was famed for his great strength and extraordinary skill and bravery, but was of lowly birth. He was not one of the better known knights of the Round Table.
ummm… because I’m a Beast from Verbena?
Well, obviously it’s from Shakespeare’s “ThreeLeggedBob, Prince of Denmark”.
(I don’t know why I even bothered to post this.)
I’m moderately annoying.
From LOTR
The Watcher in the water took Oin.
I use Freyr because (on this side of the planet) it’s a fairly obscure and unusual name. Don’t try this in northern Europe!
I started using it when I first got onto BBSs back in the late 80s.
Freyr is a god in the Norse pantheon. He’s the twin brother of Freyja. The only story that includes him in major detail is The Lay of Skirnir. The story tells how Freyr found and courted the giantess, Gerd. He’s also known as the founder of the royal house of Sweden.
Freyr is my patron. He’s a guiding influence in my life. I first encountered him on Yule of '84, when I was in my first coven in New Orleans. During the invocation, I got “hit with the spirit” which is pretty amazing because I was just a participant, not the one leading the ritual.
You have to have some sense of humor.
Square + cube = Sqube

Don’t know how upset…
