Extended Desktop with two monitors and problem with Youtube

I currently have the following configuration:

I use a Dell Latitude E6400 latptop that is docked. I recently added a second monitor to the digital port on the docking station, and am using the extended desktop for a dual monitor layout. I was previously using the laptop screen (open) as my second monitor, but with the addition of the second large monitor, I am closing the laptop.

I noticed after adding the second external laptop, that when I watch flash videos, on youtube or other sites, they don’t run properly. They jump to fast and won’t run at normal speeds.

Is the second monitor pulling resources from the video card that is causing the flash players to not work properly?

Any ideas or solutions?

ETA: When I using the laptop screen and one monitor in the extended desktop mode, I never had this problem.

It sounds like it might be a driver issue. The only thing I can recommend is to try upgrading the driver.

As a workaround, you can also try disabling Hardware Acceleration in Flash. Just right click on a flash video, choose settings, and make sure the check mark is unchecked. That acceleration is significantly different than it was for Flash 10.0, and that has caused problems for me before.

(I’m assuming you’ve tried Flash in different Web browsers. If not, do that, too.)
