Extinct Casino Games

This thread may be more suited to GQ, but since it’s about games…

Is the selection of games available to the average casino patron in, say, Vegas or Monte Carlo, basically the same as it was seven or eight decades ago? Wikipedia says that Texas Hold 'Em came to Vegas in 1967, so there was no Hold 'Em in the Rat Pack days, although there were other variants of poker. What are some other games that are popular now, but not popular then? What are some games that are now extinct (does any casino in Vegas offer Caribbean Stud and/or Pai Gow? Is Pai Gow still big in Macau?)?

Faro used to be a very popular game, but I don’t think it’s something you can find anymore Faro (banking game) - Wikipedia

Both are played at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls.

Caribbean Stud and Pai Gow are both played in Vegas casinos. Pai Gow is especially popular. Casinos are adding more and more garbage variants to their tables in an effort to attract more people and boost the bottom line, because the new games have really shitty odds.

The big table games in Vegas are blackjack, craps, Pai Gow, baccarat (both mini and regular), and roulette. Everything else has just a fraction of the number of tables of these.

More and more casinos are closing their poker rooms or not even including them in renovation plans. Just not worth it to them.
