extra credit ? for a high school history class

for my history of U.S originals, we get an extra credit ? for every week this week it is …in geronimo’s autobiography, who does he dedicate his book to?

(the other question of the week was what does dr. Thomas Harvey keep in his closet? i found the answer on this site. thanks to whoever answered it.)

Hmmm. Geronimo’s diary. . . I can’t remember for the life of me, but I’d bet you could find out if you found a copy of Geronimo’s diary.

I believe it read . . .

“Love and kisses to all the great cats and kittens who do their own homework. Ya’ll are the greatest! Drinks at the Derby on me!”

But where could one find a copy of Geronimo’s autobiography?

Wouldn’t it be great if they got a whole bunch of books that people wrote and put them together in one place? Then all you’d have to do is go and look there. Hey, maybe you wouldn’t even have to go there, maybe you would be able to just call them and ask politely if they could help.

The book was first called “Geronimo’s Story of His Life” and was published in 1907. It was reprinted as recently as this year. You could probably figure out the info about it on Amazon.com or a public library catalog.

Geronimo, His own Story. I didn’t see a dedication, though.

Here it is online - Geronimo: His Own Story

I didn’t notice a dedication.

You might be better off heading on down to that big old building with all the books. It’s been a while, but I think they used to call it a library

Darn, bibliophage beat me to it. :frowning:

[86 imitation]Missed it by that much.[/86 imitation]

I know the answer!

Nah, nah. But I’m not going to tell you, since it’s homework. It took me a while to find, but if you skim the autobiography, you should find it. Good luck!
