Extremely cool IQ test

134, but I’m a girl so I’m supposed to suck at spatial orientation. I found that about half I knew immediately, and the rest I mostly guessed because the time thing made me nervous.

Just for statistical purposes:

Random guessing scored a 48, a 42, and a 67. Choosing “C” (the third response) throughout the test scored a 26. Alternating between the first and last responses, starting with the first response, scored a 61.

I could have sworn some of those color questions didn’t have a correct answer.

I somehow still managed a 130.

This test is WAY over on the spatial side- and basically totally eliminates verbal. Which means the results are skewed to math and engineering types.

Sadly, it’s one of the least valid IQ tests on the web, for a number of reasons.

  1. Surprisingly–the test scared the crap out of me more than once, in that I couldn’t figure some of them out, despite usually good performance on tests like this.

I just noticed you could add more time to the clock by clicking the word “Timer, though it takes a point off your score”.

  1. I guessed on about half. My mind shut down with the presence of the timer, though. I didn’t like watching it count down. That was all I could focus on. Oh well.

the OP’s the first part, here’s the rest, though it all seems to be in beta:

first part
second part
third part

i got 168 for the third, 175 for the first and 155 for the second. guess i got tired by the end. the timer and the wording is *really * distracting. took me awhile to understand what answer is expected for some of the questions, which might explain the higher score for the second test.

meh. maybe i’m good at understanding broken english.
