As far as I can tell, IThinkNot there is no difference in this phrasing of the puzzle from the other…unless we postulate the existence of a person(s) with two different eye colors. In that case, because it would be impossible to tell whether a left eye or a right eye was the blue one, all would be safe.
Furthermore, to add to the absurdity, if the eyes in question are not limited to humans (i.e. the blue-eyed bird in the tree by the cave), then the whole thing becomes even more pointless.
Oh. I see.
Coincidentally, I asked my mom this question. She didn’t know. Even when I explained the logic. She still didn’t get it. As far as I know, she still doesn’t understand any of it.
It was pretty funny. Especially because I didn’t get it at first, either.
