Eye of the Tiger Chorus

Same here. Great minds think alike.

And then there’s us. :stuck_out_tongue:

“The fring of the fight.”

I don’t think it is as clearly enunciated as y’all do.

And Benny (of the Jets) has electric boobs.

Krill, cause umm could be boxing tiger, umm, whales?

LoL you need a new stereo

I hear “thrill”, but I could see mistaking it for “skill” which would also make sense.

OK, Jinx, it’s been a week!

Well, you sure called it!

I noticed this a month or so ago – he started several threads in The Game Room, posing questions, and then didn’t come back to them for some time. (Note: he did eventually come back and post again in them, at least.)

Sounds like “14 k of g in a f p d” to me.

Get off the treadmill and bring in your cake from the rain, would ya, already?

Wait, he doesn’t have electric boobs and a mohair suit?

You know, I read it in a magazine…

Sorry, sorry it took me longer than I thought to get back here! Anyway, I am amazed how many hear “thrill” so clearly and even “chill” surprises me. I can hear nothing EXCEPT “cream of the fight”! A few mentioned it above, and I know it makes no sense, but that is ALL I can hear for the life of me. I don’t know how “thrill” can sound like “cream”, but there you have it. Maybe there’s someone hears both can explain?

Hey! What do I win?! I never thought of it as being anything but “thrill of the fight,” but when I listened to it closely and tried to let the words just “blur” out, I ended up hearing “cream,” too. I thought my suggestion was going to be too silly (and almost didn’t post it), but looks like a number of people in this thread hear it, too.

Just worth mentioning: As a kid, I always heard Elton John singing “Put me in the sky with God” or “Lucy in the sky with God” not knowing of the original Beatles song of the same name. I heard Elton’s version recently on the radio, and while the name “Lucy” is clear, it seems Elton emphasizes the first syllable of “diamonds”, but the second syllable trails off - making the word sound like something short, like “God”. This is especially true at the end of the song where this line is sung in what equates to rounds. No wonder Manson thought “Helter Skelter” was talking to him!
