Object of the game:
Give the most popular answer for each category.
Rules:
No reading the thread before answering. This is on the honor system.
Formatting rules must be followed (see below).
Joke answers will not be considered, as it is not fair to other players.
Google (etc.) is allowed, if you desire.
Maximum 50 entrants, and I’ll score it when I have time.
There is no Rule 6.
Special Rules for this particular Feud: see below
Formatting rules:
To make semi-automated scoring possible, and my job easier, make your post look exactly like this:
answer
answer
answer
answer
No double spacing, no smilies, no urls, no periods, no quote marks, and no punctuation if it is not necessary. Put “pass” if you want to leave an answer blank. If you feel you must qualify your answer, do it AFTER THE LIST!
If you don’t format like this, your answers might be DISQUALIFIED.
Scoring:
With 50 entrants, an answer with a match is worth 2x the number of people matching it. If 4 people match, they each get 8 points for that answer. No matches = 0 points.
Formula: Score = 100 / (# of entrants) x (# of matches) Anyone who responds to a question with two answers will only have the first one counted as their answer.
Good luck!
If any of you have ideas for Feuds -and would like me to score them- PM me. If anyone wants to run their own Feud, feel free. I will help any way I can.
Read the rules!

Name a song that mentions ___ followed by the singer/band. (Example: category: car Answer: Baby You Can Drive My Car by The Beatles) Don’t use quotation marks!

I am gonna do SOOOOO badly. And, wow, that skewed much older than I’d have expected.
Specific ones
Like, NOBODY is going to answer this one…I just KNOW it. But it is totally the first song that comes to mind when I hear the word ‘fire’. listens to it
No doubt a few people will name this song…I just pray they grew up at the same time as me, and therefore think of the Jagger/Bowie version first!
Ruby, don’t take your love to town by Kenny Rogers
His Tell-Tale Heart by The Alan Parsons Project
Rhythm of the Rain by The Cascades
Homeward Bound by Simon and Garfunkel
Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley
Fire by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown
Ol’ Man River
Dancing in the Street by Mick Jagger and David Bowie
Sunrise by Rolf Harris
Eat It by Weird Al Jankovic
I really doubt whether anyone else will get number two - it’s from an album of music inspired by the stories of Edgar Allan Poe. (The vocalist gets mentioned later in my list. I’ll leave it to the listener to work out who it is.)
To clarify: It’s not the version I want to know, it’s whether or not it’s the same song. All songs that are the same song, but by different artists will be grouped together.
notfrommensa - if you don’t come back and repost your answers, you will be DQ’d.
