F35 catapult operations: what is the observer writing? And who is doing what on deck?

Here’s the clip:

A woman is observing from up high–is that the bridge? (I’m at Star Trek understanding here). She goes nicely low-tech with a see through plastic stuck up on the window on which she writes something. SOP?

Also, on the deck, what do they guys/gals in yellow do different than the guys in green?

The bridge is like air traffic control, tower, as far as flight deck operations go. But there are more detailed on the deck people than an airport. The ones in green are likely more on the tech, mechanical side. Ensuring the aircraft is properly attached to the catapult. Communicating with the below deck techs as to the catapult readiness. The ones in yellow are likely in a three way communication. Tower, techs, pilot. Is the aircraft cleared for takeoff, are the mechanicals good to go, does the pilot indicate good to go? The guy in yellow says go. The pilot gets ready. The techs say go. The catapult fires.
The person writing on the window, is likely noting which catapult is being used. Don’t know what 13 is.
As far as I can guess.

She writes the tail number down (73). I’m guessing the 2/1 above it are catapult numbers, but that’s a pure WAG.

A run down of the shirt colors here: Modern United States Navy carrier air operations - Wikipedia

Here is a good visual with descriptions of what everyone does:
“Much goes into flight operations aboard today’s modern Navy aircraft carrier. Preparations for a launch very much resemble a well-choreographed ballet. Those involved in the evolution have specific, clearly-defined roles, and are easily recognizable by the color of their jerseys.”

There are many things that can kill you all packed into a small space. Everybody has to know what they’re doing.

So she’s the Miniboss?

Surprisingly cutesy name for informal name of (what seems to me) an important role.

Like “XO”–sort of.

That lookout point for her is part of the bridge, where a million other things are taking place to run the ship? Steering, etc.? Where the Captain and XO are?

Probably not the Mini Boss as she simply looks too young to be one. I’ll have to see this on a better monitor but I could not make that writing out on the back of her shirt if there was any that would clearly state: MINI BOSS. I’m thinking she’s just a Navy Airman. Air or Mini Boss would be in a chair, with binoculars, and in communication with all the crews for a launch or landing.

Also, usually you have one Boss up high in the tower and the other on the flight deck (usually inside).

This clip cracks me up.
