So far, fun!
Ha ha, I already lost my lunch money playing Three Card Monte, so that’s not happening.
Anyway, turns out I’m a gold producer. I should be easy to find on FB.
I used my lunch money to build some huts last night…
I’m stymied for the time being because I don’t have enough neighbors to staff the various gov’t buildings. I suspect this is partly because I never played Zynga’s other games so to build up game buds. I thought Farmville was a really bad game.
I’m playing now and am producing uranium.
So far the game is pretty fun I managed to beat the first military mission easily and now I’m just waiting to get more friends or the ability to buy them so I can keep expanding. If anyone is interested let me know.
All I need now are one or two aluminum producing friends and I’m pretty much set. I’ve got metric assloads of copper for sale most of the time.
Yeah, same boat, except I produce gold. I need aluminum for a mission, and suspect that I need diverse neighbors later on-- iron, uranium, the infamous aluminum, and plenty of them.
Annoying how Mac came up saying “We have aluminum producers next door” yet when I go and look I’ve got nothing of that description.
I know. All I need is copper and only one of neighbors produces it. Ah, well.
I’m surprised and dismayed at how well this game got its hook into me. But let’s talk shop.
Invading is the best way I’ve found to level up. Critical hits give double experience, critical kills give triple, both give back energy, plus ore and coin. Loot is an afterthought.
I look for a weak spot-- seems like some players leave them intentionally-- and restart until all the defenders are the same type. Then I use the fewest, weakest troops as I think can win, all same type-- counter units, obviously, like tanks against infantry. This way the invaded player can repel my invasion with little chance of losing units, plus a good opportunity for critical hits.
I know from looking at the invasion forces attacking other players that not everybody does this. One person on my list seems to keep getting attacked by players of higher level who use a mix of superior units. I don’t understand why, though.
Does anyone else deliberately put inferior units into combat to get rid of them after an upgrade cycle? I do!
I usually keep 'em around just for decoration purposes.
So how do I get more land? Must I invade the other islands?
Nah, you just click on build and then click on the last thing along the top row. This will be “Expansions”. You’ll need money and liberty bonds. Liberty bonds you get from defeating the games bosses (on the world’s map). You always need the same number of bonds but the money will go up for each extension.
So, who wants to be my ally and staff my government? How do I get liberty bonds?
Here I thought I had been ripped off by getting iron as my ore (like three quarters of my neighbors), but this morning I found out that it’s the ore for building Lumber Mill III. That’s a happy little surprise; so many things cost so much wood.
Looks like I need Empire playing friends to exploit…er, to obtain liberty bonds. Who wants to be allied with the Rhiannan Empire?
Dammit, two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.
I am a producer of Aluminum I need friends that produce gold!
I’m a gold producer, and am looking for a few more neighbors to help staff government buildings.
I mine iron.
I produce TONS of Gold, but all of the Alum producers I know have two Alum ore spots. I have 18 (yes, eighteen) gold producers running, and I tend to trade in all of the other ores as well.
“Friend” me on Facebook if you would like, as 'Cyntyrr D’Soulshorne. Rose in the mouth will let you know it is me, tho not likely anyone else has my name.
I see a couple of “Natasha Sweetie” accounts, and not even sure if that is your Facebook name.
