Fallout 4 Countdown

Since FO4 is set in Boston will they allow us to build lunchbox bombs?

Well, they already have pressure cookers available as components for crafting… Give it the added limb damage of the Railway Rifle? (I’ll see myself out.)

I loved how, in NV, the head of the Crimson Caravans tells you that using bottlecaps for a mine is for idiots. You try killing a Behemoth or Deathclaw without the things. Can’t just go around lobbing mini nukes everywhere…

The way to do it in fallout 3 was the dart gun. No damage, but it instantly crippled both their legs. Then you could pick them off at your leisure.
In New Vegas, I did it old school. Avoid them until I find an anti-material rifle, then problem solved. BOOM Headshot!

In New Vegas, I was playing one morning when my fiancee wandered downstairs and asked what I was doing. (She was actually more into the game than I was, so it’s not like she didn’t know the game.) I was hunting deathclaws from a distance with a rocket launcher. Fun, except for the ammo problems.

And I think the holorifle was the most broken weapon in the game. And of course, like everything else in the stupid game, it was bugged.

Easy to kill deathclaws with a sniper rifle.

Easy to kill anything with a sniper rifle. Real (wo)men use a ballistic fist.

The playthrough I’m finishing up, I’m only doing melee. One of the most awesome things I’ve done in Fallout is clear out Quarry Junction with a ballistic fist.

And chems. Lots of chems.

There are other examples of “valuable ammo”. The coin shot shotgun shell… a 2 3/4" 12ga shell filled with silver Legion denarii.

One FONV play-through, I assassinated Caesar with those. “Render unto Caesar” indeed!

I am obsessed with Fallout 3 and New Vegas I must have 1000 hours at least combined in them but I don’t have a good PC or next-gen console
life is so difficult

Well, it may be that when you finally have the opportunity to play, the mod scene will have already fully developed. Replaying Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I was bowled over at how the game had transformed these games since they were first released. One of the big things for me is that for some reason modders have a much better idea what you need as a home base than the game designers do. Hell, Skyrim had a whole DLC package where you build several homes from scratch but it had to be exactly the home they had already designed for you. Want less clutter? Screw you. The clutter is in the blueprints.

How powerful a computer are we going to need for Fallout 4? Will it allow us to reduce the graphics to the point a regular laptop can run it? I ran Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim, and Oblivion in average quality graphics.

Some preview videos got leaked to Pornhub. I’m not sure I can link directly but just searching for “fallout 4” on Pornhub turns up 3 videos right at the top.

Also, this will apparently be one of the songs in the game: - YouTube

Well that’s a weird place for them to be…

Shutup, not it’s not!

Now, back to those videos…

Supposedly they’re on Pornhub because Youtube keeps taking them down and Pornhub doesn’t have the same interest in Bethesda’s takedown requests as Google does.

While listening to this song in Fallout 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSBco8kVuZM

The lyrics go:
The pals are the readiest
The gals are the steadiest
I suppose Fallout 4 will be about the reverse.

Dang. I can upgrade my comp that far :frowning:

This song was in the Conalrad radio addon to FO 3 and NV.

First apocalyptic world problems.

(I’m right there with ya, pal)
