I know. I wanted to say more in the OP, but where do you begin? Vegas looks great, all the casinos are there, there’s Victor, Mr. House, the Legion, Novac (with Lucy in Dinky’s mouth!), the Kings, radscorpions, a VATS shot, and - Deathclaws!
It’s the most faithful video game adaptation I’ve ever seen, done by people who have obviously played the games to death - a very welcome change from the usual half-assed adaptations.
It’s supposed to take place about 15 years after the events of FNV.

It’s not the best time for being more a fan of Fallout 1 than New Vegas, but I’ll take it (I remember when we were lucky if there was 1 (one) somewhat watchable SF or Fantasy show AT ALL).
Something that I don’t understand, I’ve been told that there are NCR troops in the trailer, but I thought that the NCR was no more? nuked into oblivion?.
I didn’t see any NCR troops in the trailer, but maybe I missed them. Could be just stragglers or a flashback, though.
Neither did I, but avid trailer watchers told me they are there, may be they’re mistaken

Just Shady Sands was nuked, right? That doesn’t mean the entire NCR is wiped out.
As for NCR troops, there was online chatter about set leaks showing someone in NCR armor. I don’t think it’s from the trailer.
May be that’s where it comes from.

I’m glad S1 was so enjoyable, the trailer only makes me less likely to guard caution. I haven’t been into TV that much lately, by December I will.
If it’s just set photos, it’s probably impossible to know if it’s a remnant, part of a flashback, or something else. Not too surprising that they’d make an appearance of some kind. Weirder is that Macaulay Culkin might be the new Caesar…
The bit in the trailer where the female voice asks Lucy about who she is looking for–“Someone you care about or…”–may be at an NCR checkpoint. There’s a military style barracks tent in the background and the tone of the conversation to me is more like a cop asking questions than casual roadside meet up.
I’m assuming from clues, the Mr. House ending will be considered canon now(Victor is still around) and the Legion and the NCR are still around but aren’t major factors.
