so you want to qoute Zen now.
I thought you said you had rejected my interpretation of it utterly.
and now you want to lecture.
Valid point tho, i put Zen aside for a moment cos all you seem to be capable of relating to is absurd ridicule, utterly devoid of reason.
attack, deride, ridicule. no intelligence evident…
it amused me, reminded me of the general signature of America, as perceived by the entire world,
America, go in guns blazing, world police, fuck yeah…
lol
Zanthor, your posting “style” is so fucking annoying, vague, obtuse, intentionally skewed towards your confirmation bias and just gauche faux bullshit that its so very hard to take you seriously. You don’t want a debate, but you also couch your OP’s like this in intentionally inflammatory terms that its clear that all you want is people to agree with your preconceived notions (if others can even parse what the fuck you’re getting on about) that “Amerikka is teh EVIL”!!!111.
Your posts suck, don’t inspire the deep thinking you believe they do nor any debate and are generally incomprehensible due to your propensity for couching them in some weird ass Zen poetry style that is extremely off-putting.
You mean a town that was blanketed in WP smoke, explosive residue, gunpowder smoke, diesel fumes and fuel, thick clouds of black smoke (from burning cars, tires, plastic, houses, buildings, metal, paint and people), lead particulate and depleted uranium may have some detrimental genetic effects?
I declare this thread is about Haiku critiquing, now. Not whatever bullshit the OP was trying to pedal – Haiku critiquing, as boring as it is, is far more interesting.
I thought Haiku was 5/7/5? (Was)1(There)2(Lead)3(in)4(your)5(baby)6(food)7?
Smoke-covered rubble
Old man mutters to himself
People turn away
I did a course in Haiku, and they didn’t make us conform to 5-7-5. Apparently, that’s how it’s written in Japanese syllables, and the differences in the the two languages obviates the need to have the same structure in English.
I like some good old fashioned America hating as much as the next guy, but blaming the American people (such as they are) seems a little unfair. Do you blame the Soviet citizenry for what the USSR did to Afghanistan too? I don’t think assigning moral culpability in such situations makes much sense, even if the moral righteousness feels good.
