When you’re at a Novell Server console and type SPEED the computer gives back a number such as 27,416.
Does anyone know where I can find a guide or a calculator that will reverse this number into something more meaningful for me?
The number is calculated using the Mhz speed, the class of CPU (i.e. Pentium Pro, Pentium II, etc.) and one other number I’m unsure of. Anyway, if the server makes this calculation there should be some way to reverse it.
(FYI: I’m nowhere near most of the servers I need to figure out or else I’d just go look at them myself.)
