For those folks who have already responded, a question: do MLB players actually go to Japan to play during the off-season? I thought the Japanese season ran only a month or two off of MLB’s season
[/QUOTE]
There is almost always a US player tour of Japan after the World Series. However, most MLB players that play winter ball do so in the Caribbean and they have not played in Cuba for decades.
I see a lot of people noted the 42 instead of 47 mistake.

True, but the answer doesn’t have to be right or wrong, just the most popular. I am waiting to see if Puerto Rico becomes a popular answer for that question.
Sorry for the Jackie Robinson mistake - obviously, he was 42, his debut year was '47, I conflated the two - for future responders (if you even see this), please respond as if the original question read 42.

Family Feud XIV - I liked the Movie Edition that was posted a few feuds ago, so I decided to try my hand at this. Note to non-American dopers - the questions here all refer to sports that are popular in North America, not out of local chauvinism but because I am not knowledgeable enough to ask real questions about cricket, rugby, soccer, etc. Sorry.
Rules, in case you are new are this: DON’T READ THE THREAD BEFORE YOU POST!
Post your responses to the questions. When there have been 50 responses, I will give each response two points. If all 50 respondents have the same answer as you, you will get 100 points for that question. After 50 sets of responses have been posted, I will tabulate the results, declare the winner, and post the scoreboard. There are ten questions and a maximum of 1000 possible points.
Format for your answers: You don’t need to repeat the questions, but please number the answers.
Good luck!
