Uh, not sure what happened there with the double post. I think there must have been a server fart.

Heh…I realized my mistake afterwards, but it just goes to show how little attention I pay to basketball these days. I honest-to-God thought the Hawks had moved and taken on another name because I haven’t heard a word about them in years. I suppose the Lakers and Clippers don’t play them very often because I haven’t seen a Hawk-related highlight since I don’t know when.

Oh, I know. That’s why I was specifically looking for a factual answer to the question, which What Exit? provided.

The post immediately following yours made that very worthwhile.

Zebra, specify your Hull!!

Totally lucked into it too. Don’t know if anyone does, but I don know a bunch of Pros are from there.

Not sure if my responses will count, but I can never resist one of these threads:

OK I just realized that no honest competitor will read my post, but it serves the purpose of bumping…

These questions were ridiculously hard. I wonder what the furriners are thinking…

  1. Name a country where baseball players play during the major league off-season.
    The Dominican Republic

  2. If Wayne Gretzky did not exist, who would be considered the greatest player in NHL history?

  5. Besides Jackie Robinson’s universally-retired 47, name a number that has been retired by many major league baseball teams.
    Jackie Robinson’s #42.
(Assuming that was a factoid typo, I’m gonna guess #21 has been retired a lot, which was Roberto Clemente’s number)

  6. Name a city that used to have an NBA team but no longer does.
    Vancouver

  7. Name an African-American professional tennis player, male or female.
Serena Williams (though the first one that came to mind was Arthur Ashe, he’s been dead a long time)

  8. Name an NCAA football bowl game other than the BCS “big four” (Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta).
…Pass (I couldn’t even have named these four, though the first three sound familiar, Fiesta Bowl sounds like something with salsa and sour cream to me)

  9. Name a pro sports venue that is expected to be replaced (for any of its tenants) within the next five years.
    Shea and Yankee Stadiums

  10. Name a city (or other named location) that has a team in only one of the four American major-league team sports.
