Walloon – those weren’t exactly hard-core porn, but they were, in fact, pictures of a nekkid woman. Please remember to use the two-click rule for NSFW links.
Thanks.
Please use the NoParse tag instead of randomly throwing a bunch spaces into links you want to break. There is absolutely no reason to “break” a link in the first place. The only goal is to make them not clickable, which is exactly what NoParse does.
And now it doesn’t even work.
It works for me. Try this one:
I’d like to second Ellis Dee’s suggestion to use the NoParse tag. I wasn’t even aware of this tag until he/she pointed it out, and I’ve been here a few years, so perhaps the mods/administrators could do something to make posters more aware of it. Most of us know that unchecking the “Automatically parse links in text” box only works for the post of the person who unchecked the box, and that the link becomes re-enabled when that post is subsequently quoted; the NoParse tag, however, remains in effect when quoted, as you can see above.
Also, if links must be broken by inserting spaces, may I suggest putting the space(s) where they will be more obvious, such as in the middle of a word. When you put the space(s) immediately before or after a slash, the location of the space is often difficult to see, more or less so depending on the viewer’s chosen font. I would also like to note that one inserted space is sufficient to break the link.
All that said, Ellis Dee, it’s still a good idea to add “(NSFW)” after even a broken/noparsed link.
There is a real person named Justin Case?
My favorite’s already been mentioned: Elisha Cuthbert. Part of the reason why I love 24. I don’t give a damn how bad her roles are, BRING BACK KIM!
Others I have to second (or third, fourth, etc.):
Jessica Alba (tightest body on any actress I’ve ever seen)
Jessican Biel
Tina Fey (smart, funny, AND cute? hot damn!)
Jennifer Love Hewitt (had a thing for her for years)
Carrie Underwood (was on SNL a while back in a super short skirt. I wanted to scream at the cameraman “Get lower damn it!”)
Michelle Wie
Kristen Bell
Catherine Zeta-Jones (more curvy than some of these other girls, but hands down the most beautiful face in Hollywood)
Some that haven’t been mentioned:
Giada de Laurentis (TV chef. Specializes in melons)
Jeanette Lee (Pro pool player)
Erin Andrews (I don’t condone stalking, except when it gets us hot pictures of naked celebs. Now that we have a taste though, we need more, and with better resolution)
Oops, my bad. You’re definitely right about that.
NoParse is particularly useful for explaining how to use tags. For example: bold tags
Jessica Biel was quite naked in Powder Blue – now showing on premium cable – and according to Mr. Skin Catherine Zeta Jones has been briefly naked in a few movies.
Mr. Skin page for Catherine Zeta Jones is here. NSFW. No nudity or much of anything to shock, but I’m guessing most offices would frown on it.

An even easier (from the reader’s point of view) mod-approved method is the use of spoiler tags. The reader doesn’t even have to copy and paste the URL.
ETA: Nothing is easy if you consistently have typos in every damned thing you post.
My bad. If you go into edit, the no-parse button isn’t there, so I thought I had to break the link by hand. It turns out if I hit “go advanced,” the button is there.
My apologies to all for effing that up – I’ll do it correctly in the future.
No worries, twickster. I actually had to read your post a few times before I understood what you meant. As a programmer, I have never once used a button for any vBulletin codes. I always type them out. heh.
Great tip, TWDuke. That is definitely the easiest of all.
EDIT: Just thinking out loud, spoilers are ideal for us posters, but for a mod breaking a link the noparse solution is probably preferable.
Oh, for pity’s sake: be specific! They’ve brought back Kim a couple of times much to the dismay of many.
Bring back running-away-from-something Kim.
Is there a button that I’m not seeing? Unchecking the “Automatically parse links in text” box simply tells the vBulletin software to refrain from placing tags around links, which is why the links end up getting parsed when somebody quotes the original post. The tags are completely separate, and remain in place after quoting.
This discussion of code tags is too dry and boring; more hotness! To that end:
Alexis Bledel / Amber Tamblyn / Lacey Chabert / Shannon Woodward / Rachel Bilson
She intrigued you when she was… not of age? :dubious:
How in the world has this thread gotten to three pages without a mention of Rachel Weisz? I understand that when she crawled from the water in the original “The Mummy” film, her nightgown was transparently clinging to her body. The jerks who made the file had to digitally make it opaque. What a waste of computing cycles.
She was topless at least, but mostly buried under a heaving man in the film “I Want You”.
There used to be an extensive website of nude female celebrities. It was updated regularly and featured the largest collection of naked lady stars I’d ever seen. A lot of them were frame grabs, but still. It was indexed by the actress’s and model’s first names. The guy who ran it died and it went away.
Does anyone know of another similar effort on the web that’s safe. I say ‘safe’, because sometimes when clicking for promised nude pics one’s browser security flags the site as dangerous to the computer.
