The new teaser is out and looks good!
Was pleasantly surprised by the first, sorely disappointed by the second and had no plans to see the third. But Jacob gets a wand? I may see it just for that.

So it looks like Katherine Waterston is out? She isn’t seen in any of the trailers. Shame, she was the best part of the first move after Kowalski.
It seems that Rowling has gone back to what she’s good at - Dumbledore & Hogwarts. Hopefully the studio took a little tighter control after the mess of movie #2.
She’s still listed as part of the cast.
I actually found an article asking “Where is Tina?” since she isn’t in the trailers or the promotional posters that have been released. But another article did confirm she’ll be in it - but who knows if it will be a 5 second cameo or what.
there are murmurings that she will be at the very end of the movie.
Did I detect in that trailer a hint of actual personality in Newt’s annoyingly bland older brother? Maybe I’m seeing something that isn’t there just because I want it to be true, but that would be a most welcome fix. And it would appear that Credence finally went to the barber! Finally!
Well, for one, they made sure she did not solo-write the screenplay. She co-wrote this movie with Steve Kloves, who wrote the Harry Potter movies.

That was a good movie. The dumbledore- grindlewald scene at the beginning was very well done.
I saw it today. Was a bit troubled that it endorsed Trump’s arguments for fraud in the 2020 election and calls for a do-over. (Kidding. Sort of.)
This review suggests much the same. Not to mention the Depp/Miller mess.
Now that the movies are in theatr, a bit of a spoiler. I don’t believe that miller will be returning, his character arch is done.
I wasn’t invested in depp’s grindlewald so not a problem with me. The court case is very ugly so far, no matter how it resolves it will be horrible for all involved.
It looked to me that dumbledore had a bit of a rune boost during the last bit of fighting.
