I have a question about a yahoo trade. I’m in a yahoo pro/money league, and it’s set to staff review on trades. I guess they reviewed and approved the trade sometime on Saturday, and I’m getting Knowshon Moreno as part of the trade, who’s playing on Monday.

Note: This trade will be processed on Monday, Sep 23. If traded players are on your Week 3 bench or haven’t already played, the trade will be reflected on your Week 3 lineup. Otherwise, it will be processed for Week 4. If you’ve set your lineup for future dates, those changes will be reset to match your lineup for the day players are added.

Does anyone know when on Monday this will process? I will have to leave an empty RB slot on my roster in the event that I want to start Moreno on Monday, but what if the trade doesn’t process until after game time on Monday? Then I’d end up having no one. This ambiguity is stupid.

Also, what does that last line mean exactly? Does it have any relevance here?

Yahoo processes waiver claims shortly after midnight, so I’d assume the same holds true for trade approvals. Seems super weak to say Monday but not let you play them that day.

No, the trade didn’t go through. I started David Wilson instead, so basically a wash.

I actually won only by 4 points, so if I had made that spot empty instead, planning to insert Moreno later, and it didn’t go through, I’d have lost.

Some advice, please. I’d like to get another stud running back, and I’m okay with giving up one of the good ones I have if I can make a clear upgrade. Here’s a counter off that’s on the table currently. I feel like I’m giving up too much, but not by much.

My team: Stafford, Brandon Marshall, Victor Cruz, Matt Forte, Sproles, DeSean Jackson, Montee Ball, Mike Vick, Fred Jackson, James Starks, Deangelo Williams and Santonio Holmes.

His team: Russell Wilson, AJ Green, Vincent Jackson, Doug Martin, Demarco Murray, Kembrell Thompkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Johnson, Danny Amendola, Emanuel Sanders, Percy Harvin, and Sam Bradford.

The proposed trade: Doug Martin and Deandre Hopkins for Sproles, Marshall, and Williams.

Thoughts: I’m not keen on giving up Marshall to get Martin. Martin’s offense is in some turmoil, but I feel like I’m buying low, too. My original offer to him was this deal, but with Victor Cruz swapped out for Marshall. He said that the deal is greatly in my favor, according to the projected stats, but I also emailed him back to tell him that if that were the case, the guy that autodrafted and got an A grade would be first in our league instead of last.

It isn’t. I’m thinking Sproles will end up fine, especially in that offense. He’s a guy I wanted to target before the draft, and I got him. I do see Martin as an upgrade, though.

He says he needs to get Marshall back in that trade, so the proposed trade is the one we’re working with here.

Well, hope you didn’t make that trade. Sproles went up in value, Martin went down. I think you look at dealing Fred Jackson and DeAngelo Williams for an RB2 to slot into your flex over DeSean Jackson.
