They are shown explicitly watching Trump and commenting on the “great man”.
That review is very very wrong. George Bush- like him or love him, sure. But he wasnt a proto-nazi. Bush did not try to overthrow the United States of America. trump needs to be poked fun at, and ridiculed.
And yes, they approve of trump in Tillman-land. But trump isnt their diety- its Tillman, first, last and always. I have no doubt Tillmans militia voted for trump, but did Tillman donate large sums to trump campaign?
And if you look at his Yourtubes, the man is a bigot.
“If there was ever a point to you, it’s gone now.” Sorry, Gator.
“No daughter of mine…” Yay, Lorraine.
From now on be will need a Gator aide.
I thought Dorothy was going to hide under the bodies, which would show just what lengths she’d go to to survive. Leaving her gun outside and leaving the lid partially open on the grave was uncharacteristically dumb of her.
But I did like, “And now the tiger has been set free”.
I was surprised that she ditched the rifle too. She thought that they’d be too preoccupied to find her. Given how bad the visibility got, she should have just headed for the fence line.
That line about not interrupting a superior during banter cracked me up
Just saw this on reddit. Check out the comments that were made during Roy’s livestream. Hilarious.
The Donald
Mitch from Kentucky = McConnell
Tucker Bo Bucker = Tucker Carlson
Matt G = Gaetz
Oh man. This was a hollerin’ at the TV episode for sure!
This is such a great season.
I liked this line: “You know what a witch hunt is, right? Not witches hunting men but men killing women to keep them in line.”
There was a moment, when the lead FBI guy was talking to Roy on his horse at the gate, where there was just the briefest flicker of fear in Roy’s eyes. Excellent acting by Hamm, it was so subtle and a blink-and-you-miss-it moment.
Not sure whether that deserves a clap or a slap (as in slap to my face, not yours; facepalm IOW).
How about both?
Nice detail, and great catch to the reddit guy who posted it.
No doubt.
I caught that too. Hamm is (ahem) killing it in this role. He is one of those actors, like a John Goodman, who does ‘likeable comedic foil’ and ‘menacing’ equally well.
That was the moment I wanted one of the cops to just yank him off the horse and shove him into the back of a police car. I think all the weekend warriors would just piss themselves and run seeing their hero get humiliated like that.
Yeah. Somehow no one thinks of that. It would have solved Waco in ten minutes.
Oh, good, there’s one more episode. I though #9 was the final one. Too many loose ends left.
With just the finale left I’m curious how some of the main characters who’ve been absent a while are going to figure in. Lorraine, Scotty, Indira. I’d be kind of disappointed if they’re stories just kind of ended where they are.
Great catch. That’s awesome.
Not sure what you mean by ‘absent’. Lorraine and Indira have both figured pretty prominently plot-wise, including in this most recent, penultimate episode. As for Scotty, she’s kind of a peripheral figure anyway. Well, except…
I did hear an internet rumor that she may be revealed to be Tillman’s daughter.
The timing doesn’t work out for your spoiled to be true. This was “debunked” weeks ago
Well then, mea culpa, doncha know.
ETA: although…how does the timing not work out?
IIRC, she escaped from Tillman 10 years prior, and Scotty looks to be about 10, give or take…
I don’t remember. It was the reddit nerds but I can’t find it at the moment.
