The ones I saw were wearing platform sandles: high enough so that they could walk without their nails scraping the ground, and open in front so their nails could hang over with no problem. shudders
To Squish:
If you want 'em, you’ll also have to take the scars I’ve given myself with them… they is SHARP! Owieee! While they aren’t quite enough to use as a screwdriver (unless the screw isn’t in too tightly to begin with), they work very well as a knife. They’re how I open up plastic-wrapped stuff.
Men with long fingernails? ponders How long are we talking about here?
I’m too grossed-out by the idea to even LOOK at the pictures! WTF?!
While we’re at it, what the opinion of this respected assembly on tattoos? I have the opportunity to get one at a good rate from a clean professional looking to establish himself in town. I’m 41, so “having to live with it the rest of my life” doesn’t sound very intimidating.
My biggest problem with strapless bras is that they dig into my ribs–always have, even when I was thin. But I still would wear one of those with spaghetti straps–I’m not comfy with the idea of my undergarments showing to that degree!
As for the padded bras, all I can figure is that maybe they are more effective in hiding nipples. This is the only reason that I’d buy them (I am a DD). Still, not so much padding would be required, IMO.
And yes, unfortunately, you do seem to get what you pay for, at least in the larger bra sizes. An El Cheapo just doesn’t work for me at all!
As for something that I find to be unflattering–I just hate a skirt/shirt combo worn with the shirt cutting directly across the hips in a straight line. Makes women look bottle-assed, IMHO.
