A colleague sent me a link to a microblog commentator he thought was saying relevant things to my main line of interest. I don’t think so. He’s raving on and on about the massive Constitutional danger/damage caused by Fast Track Trade Authority and arguing for the benefits of a balanced trade economy. It gets into areas where I have no special knowledge or expertise, but sounds like the usual anti-Obama paranoid ravings.
So is Fast Track Trade Authority an unconstitutional road to ruin, or what?
And is the notion that a strictly balanced trade economy leads to jobs and prosperity as antiquated and nutball (in 2014) as it seems?
I’m looking for enlightenment first, then perhaps ammo to respond to this blogger.
