Or, another way, 70s Elvis or 50s Elvis?
Inspired by a very ‘fat’ rendition of Fever that I’m listening to, Damn, it’s good…
So which do you prefer?

But what about the hybrid Elvis? The fat one drawn thin? Or, I should say- the Vegas one drawn Nashville?
He’s very popular on collectors plates you know.
LOL…Auditory judgement only, please!!!
“Suspicious Minds” – gotta vote fat. (And did, when the stamp went up for a referendum.)
I don’t think he was fat when he did “Burnin’ Love”, so I vote thin.
Thin! That fat guy that showed up in later years wasn’t the real Elvis: He was the first Elvis impersonator.
50’s…No comparison at all.
The Viva Las Vegas Elvis. Accept no substitutes. We areplanning on having a young Elvis perform our wedding ceremony.
My “young Elvis” vote cancelled (heh!) yours out, then.
Thin Elvis, early on.
Later, he just got really cheesy and embarassing.
Definitely thin.
Fat.
I’ll take the thin Elvis anyday. Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes and all those hits are some of the best.
I like the latter Elvis. When did he get fat? I’ve seen picture from his concert in Hawaii which was in the in 1973, and he didn’t look fat to me.
For a good time, image-google “Fat Elvis.” Sample
It really depends; they both have their merits. If I had to choose one I would probably choose fat Elvis though. He couldn’t sing quite as good but he was cooler.
But for the love of god, anything but gospel Elvis.
