Father of the Pride

“I vant the ‘ahhh’”

“Just say it vas magic”

LOL! That was hilarious. I wonder if the real S&R have been to a 7/11 before? It was definetly a great show… the catnip was funny as Hell!

I figure since the show was on last night, no need for spoilers:

Roy basically just stood around while people threw dollars at him for stuff instead of waiting for him to finish his little speeches :D. Siegfried fixed the Big Gulp machine, but improved it, adding a little laser show and fog whenever you used it. And the kid’s relationship with his g/f was saved by going to her.

Sierra’s interview was highly entertaining. His parents were hungry so they ate the nip sausage and were all high when the interviewee was there. You can only imagine what happened. It culminated with Larry rolling his wife (what’s her name…) around the front yard saying she was a doughnut and then knocking out the interviewee. In spite of that Sierra got into the program.

Oh, and the nip? It was actually Sarmotti’s

I agree–these keep getting better! S&R were great!

I don’t know if they’ve ever been to a 7-11 in real life, but I wonder if the ep wasn’t a little nod at their Sprint commercial (link goes to S&R’s news page–look at the bottom for the video link.

Even better. How did I forget that. Thanks, Winterhawk11

WOW… that Sprint Commerical was almost dead on the S&R stuff at the 7/11. Though they didn’t have the music that S&R bring to every place they go on the show (which is so utterly funny… that music is such cheese :D).

“Can you operate the cash register?”

“Is it impossible?”

“Umm, no.”

“Vell, that is too bad, cuz vee are masters of the impossible!”

“I don’t vant the slush, I vant the Gulp!”

Heheh, what a quotable show.

Oh, yeah! But it gets even better…I believe the quote was actually, “I don’t vant to Slurp, I vant to Gulp!”

The hell with the animals. If it was just straight S&R the entire 22 minutes, I wouldn’t miss a nanosecond. They’re hysterical.

I think Sierra’s comment on her history paper subject was great…

“I wrote about the roll Lions played in Early Christianity”

snicker

Cats (Christian who can take a joke!)

They are in fact hysterical. But there is no way they could keep up the rapidfire humor if S&R were in sections longer than a couple of minutes.

Clap clap Thunder! Lighting! Zoooom!!!

Yeah, it’s a fine balance. They could probably show a few more minutes of them per episode and be a-ok, but the current setup is working quite well (imo).

First time I’ve actually laughed out loud at a “comedy” in a long time. I hope the writers can keep it fresh and funny. And I hope the censors keep forgetting to watch it. I don’t believe some of the stuff they’re getting away with before late night. Love it!

What I’m still amazed at is that in the Matt Lauer ep, they got away with Siegfried calling Lauer a “word burglar”…or maybe that’s just me with a dirty mind.

What do you guys think? Subtle innuendo or me with a dirty mind? Either could be equally possible…

If it were any other show, I’d say you have a dirty mind, but seeing as it is Father of the Pride, I’m sure it was completely intentional.
